Samat-Well done! Risk management begins on Day 1 of the project management lifecycle and does not end until final deliverable acceptance and closure. I love your awesome drive, “Keep going, keep studying, be motivated.” Knowledge through education builds skills and drives success! We are proud of you Samat. Climb that mountain—get to the top! Manage risk—don’t let it manage you! You got this! 🎉👏

In-scope vs Out-of Scope applicability to Real life 😉 A decade ago, when I learnt about Project Management domain the in scope and out of scope definitions really fascinated me.Every project planned had an in scope and out of scope.I found they brought clarity & hence was very relaxing as, it quickly shifted the focus on what scope I manage and what I will not be dealing with. The out-of-scope reason was remarkably simple it did not support the Project aim hence had to be out 😊. Below is a quick table which is personal in my mind and has always helped me to get clarity to decide the next course of action . Happy learning 😊

Hello!I wanted to share with you that I have successfully completed a project initiation course, which has provided me with valuable insights and knowledge in the field of project management.During the course, I learned about the importance of project scoping, stakeholder analysis, and creating a strong project foundation. I gained a deeper understanding of how to effectively define project goals, identify key stakeholders, and establish clear project boundaries.Additionally, I learned about the significance of creating a comprehensive project charter, which acts as a guiding document throughout the project lifecycle. The course emphasized the importance of aligning project objectives with organizational goals and obtaining necessary approvals from key stakeholders.Furthermore, I acquired skills in creating RACI charts, which helped me in assigning roles and responsibilities within a project team. The course also highlighted the significance of effective communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders.Coursera Coursera Google Google Operations Center

Learning Project Management can be quite engaging. This is one of the engagements I had today taking the "Beginning the planning phase."Think about a time when you helped to ensure that a team was aligned around a shared goal, such as a work project, event, or fundraiser you worked on.* Did the team conduct a project kick-off? If so, was the kick-off more formal (e.g., an in-person or virtual meeting) or informal (e.g., a group chat or email)?* Was there any disagreement about goals or how to achieve them? If so, what strategies did you use (or observe) for getting everyone on the same page?* Knowing what you know now about project kick-offs, would you have done anything differently? What?Based on my experience in the education sector, this is my take:During my department's 2022/2023 accreditation exercise, I was the examination officer responsible for result compilation. The kick-off meeting was formal; which was an in-person meeting. There was disagreement on the possibility of completing results for practical courses and difficulty in meeting the timeline. To overcome this limitation, productivity in meeting this goal was analyzed therefore cross-sectional functionality was reorganized to meet the practical results dateline. With my current exposure to project kick-offs, I would have taken follow-up differently, not assuming that the kick-off makes everyone get involved with the full understanding of what to do automatically.

Continuous Learning: The Key to Success for Project Managers! 🎉 Happy Belated New Year! 2024 is in full swing, and although January is almost over, there are still eleven months to go! Many who created "New Year's Resolutions" may already be out of the game. The second Friday in January is known as “Quitter's Day,” when people are most likely to throw in the towel on their resolutions. However, those who set solid goals and have plans are typically more successful and are continuing on their path.🥅 Are your goals in place? If so, I hope that continuous learning is one of them.Read the full PM-Mastery post here:https://lnkd.in/eA92Jxi8#ContinuousLearning #ProjectManagement #GrowthMindset #NeverStopLearning

📈Constant learning in project management📈As a project manager, I often face new challenges and opportunities that require me to learn new skills and knowledge. Recently, I was assigned to lead a project that involved a new technology that I was not familiar with. Instead of feeling intimidated or overwhelmed, I saw this as a chance to grow and expand my horizons.I started by doing some research on the technology and its applications. I also reached out to some experts and colleagues who had experience with it. I asked them questions and listened to their insights. I learned a lot from them and gained a better understanding of the project's scope and goals.I then applied what I learned to plan and execute the project. I communicated clearly and frequently with my team and stakeholders. I also solicited feedback and suggestions from them. I was open to learning from their perspectives and experiences. I was not afraid to admit when I did not know something or when I made a mistake. I used every opportunity to learn and improve. This project taught me that as a project manager, I do not need to know everything. What I need is a willingness to learn and a curiosity to ask questions. By doing so, I can acquire new skills and knowledge, and apply them to solve problems and create value. I can also inspire and empower my team and stakeholders to do the same. This is how I grow as a project manager and a leader.

The power to say NO is different than the power to say YES. a project manager should seek to understand which power a stakeholder has and the topics they have influence over.NO may really mean no and you have to change. NO may be coming from someone other than who you hear. You may have to see if there are stakeholders you do not know. NO may be because they have an alternative that they want to be hears. NO may be because that is the only power they have and they aren't going to go easy.NO may be because a different stakeholder other than you should be asking. Learning who can say NO and who can say YES is an important part of working with stakeholders.
