KING E. King, resident of Belen since 1977, died this past Thursday, January 4, 1990. She is survived by her daughter, Aline Beck, and her husband, Fred residents of Belen; also by a brother, Sam Warren of Little Rock, AR. She was preceded in death by her son, Mclain Merritt, and daughter, Patricia Belknap Mapp, and Katherine Woodring. She is also survived by grandsons, Fred Beck Jr.

of Albuquerque, and Kim Belknap of Holbrook, AZ, and Kerry Belknap of Colorado Springs, CO, and Kevin Belknap of Carrolton, TX. Also, a granddaughter, Sue Lemons of Albuquerque. There are eight great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Belen. She was also a former longtime resident of Truth or Consequences.

SW. Strobe Light Pioneer Harold Edgerton Dies THE ASSOCIATED PRESS CAMBRIDGE, Mass. Harold "Doc" Edgerton, a pioneer in strobe and underwater photography and a professor emeritus at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, died of a heart attack Thursday. He was 86. Edgerton died at Massachusetts General Hospital after suffering a heart attack at the MIT faculty club, where he was having lunch, MIT said.

The achievements of Edgerton, a much loved professor, spanned history. Edgerton's revolutionary work in the use of strobe lights captured images long hidden to the naked eye. Patricio (Pat) Lucero, 91, a resident of Albuquerque for 40 years, passed away Friday, He is survived by three daughters, Alice Ramona Lucero of Las Vegas, NM, Josie Archuleta and Connie Dolores Bales, both of Albuquerque; two brothers, Isidro Lucero of Pueblo, CO, and Severo Lucero Jr. of Albuquerque; one sister, Nora Marlow of Las Vegas; eight grandchildren; 13 greatgrandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Lucero was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Visitation will be Sunday from 11:00 a.m.

He is survived by his wife, Valentina Miranda of the family home; two sons, Audilio and his wife Claire of Albuquerque and Max Miranda Jr. of Ft. Stanton, NM; four daughters, Helen Gonzales of Blue Springs, Viola Romero and her husband, Roman of Albuquerque, Priscilla Miranda of Ft.

Stanton, NM and Carmen McCleery and her husband Michael of Albuquerque; 12 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren; one sister, Fannie Saavedra of Belen. His parents were Pablo and Pabla Miranda. During the early morning, 4 to 11 inches of snow fell in the mountains of northern Utah, and there were 3- to 4-inch accumulations in the lower elevations of Utah.

Snow also fell along the southern shore of Lake Superior at midday, and snowshowers were scattered over northeastern and northwestern New York state and southern North Dakota. Anthony Sanchez, age 63, passed away January 5, 1990 at a local hospital. Mr. Sanchez was a lifelong resident of Albuquerque. He was a member of the Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, and a WWII Veteran. Mr.

Sanchez was retired from the Albuquerque Public Schools, where he was principal of Grant Middle School and previously of Polk Middle School. He was a member of the Principal's Association. He is survived by his wife, Claudia Sanchez of the family home; mother, Fedelina Sanchez of Albuquerque; mother-in-law, Mary M. Sanchez; two sons, Richard and wife, Mary Jean Sanchez, Michael and Annette Sanchez, all of Albuquerque; sisters, Elsie and husband, Vincent Olguin of Belen, NM and Nellie Sanchez of Alamogordo, NM; and several nieces and nephews. Visitations will be Sunday at the Crestview Funeral Home beginning at 8:00 a.m.

Interment followed at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Arrangements by the Crestview Funeral Home, 7601 Wyoming Blvd. NE. SOLSBERG-Ernest O. Solsberg, died January 4 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

He was born July 15, 1900 in Big Lake, Minnesota. He is survived by his wife, who is his only living relative, LaVerne Salsberg; also, close friend, Peggy Beery from New Mexico. He was living in the Union Printers Home. He entered the Printers Union in Albuquerque in Albuquerque. He was a Private during World War I.

He was affiliated with the Elks Club. Mr. Solsberg entered the Printers Home in May of 1988. Graveside services were at Evergreen Cemetery, Colorado Springs, CO, January 5, 1990. STONE-Forest Raymond "Dutch" Stone, 88, a resident of Albuquerque for 40 years, died Wednesday.

He is survived by his wife, Edna Stone of the home; son, Jim Stone of Chandler, AZ; grandchildren, Jana Susan Stone of Phoenix, AZ, and Jim Ed Stone, II, of Louisville, KY. Mr. Stone was a member of Sandia Baptist Church. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge. Services were held Friday, 3:30 p.m., at French Mortuary-University Blvd.

THOMASON- -James Ashley Thomason, also known as "Tony Padilla," age 22, passed away on Jan. 4, 1990. James was a longtime resident of Albuquerque, originally from Belen, NM. He is survived by his mother, Gina P. Padilla of Los Lunas, NM; father, Ralph D.

Padilla, also of Los Lunas, NM; sisters and brothers, Valerie Padilla, Gil Padilla, Irene Martinez and Michael Padilla; grandparents, Benito Chavez Ralph and Lucy Padilla; many aunts, uncles and nephews. He is loved and will be missed by all his family. Private services at the request of the family. Arrangements by the Crestview Funeral Home, 7601 Wyoming Blvd. NE.

THOMPSON- -Charles E. Thompson age 58 and a resident of Albuquerque for 40 years, died Monday at home. He is survived by his beloved wife, Carmen; he was the devoted and loving father of James Thompson and Charles E. Thomp- son both of Albuquerque, Linda Stamm and husband, David of Ogden, UT, Lourie Hutchenson of Dallas, TX and Louise Saavedra and husband Robert of Albuquerque; and nine grandchildren.
