Well buried at the end of the post about VA Tech is that Claire is in a certified nursing assistant program, and that she plans to start school in Utah in January! Hope that comes to pass.

What’s sad is that it’s an after thought. Claire going to school to become a nurse deserves its own post!!!

Well, she's going to be a CNA, not a nurse. A nurse is its own degree with special training, and a career that requires dedication and commitment.

Nothing wrong with being a CNA, but we all know she is just biding her time until she can find a mate, hence the going to back to Utah.

We know a few things about Kelle Hampton
1) She lies
2) She's broke, or at least been in financial difficulties (per public info)
3) She took advantage of a COVID program not really meant for her (per public info)
4) She LOVES to spend money

She's totally skimming off this fund. And the tax write-off for a hefty personal donation! lol Those two doofi are cackling over this.

The update on the contractors ("pirates") raises many questions.

First, they wouldn't leave their own tools behind for good, she makes it seem like they did. And her list of complaints includes "using our bathroom" –where are they supposed to go? And "sleeping in our bed"???? What? Maybe one of the workers stayed at the job site over night?

I think it is safe to bet that the renovation was not planned out in great detail. It was a rush job run by Christian as the project manager. He hired labor he did not know well, maybe were not highly sed, etc.. The family moving into the house must have slowed down the project…..He clearly did not have good control over the outcome.

I was wondering if any of this work required permits, but most of it seemed cosmetic.

I think it is safe to bet that the renovation was not planned out in great detail. It was a rush job run by Christian as the project manager. She said "literally walking in on us before dawn sleeping in our beds…" I assume she meant that they, the Nielsons, were sleeping in their own beds when the contractors showed up for work. Construction usually starts between 7 and 8am (any earlier is illegal in a lot of places for noise reasons) so how late were they sleeping in?

When I have work done at my house, I assume the workers will show up to begin work between 7 and 8 and I make sure we are all up, decent and ready to be out of their way by the time they get there. I thought this was normal.

Unless Ollie has been secretly taking all the hard classes and acing them, he's not getting in to Virginia Tech, especially engineering. Don't you think if he was achieving, Nie would be boasting about it? I doubt Claire is getting her CNA at Wake Forest (which is in Winston Salem, not close). Wake Technical is a community college in their area, more likely to get a CNA there.

She definitely wanted us to think that Jane was taking classes at Wake Forest University…hate to tell the oh girl but they don’t offer CNA classes.
And poor Ollie I don’t think he would get into Virginia Tech!

So much to comment on her last drop of posts. First, I agree – no way ever will Oliver get into Virginia Tech, nor is Claire attending Wake Forest for a CNA course. She'll be taking that at a technical school and it lasts about a month or two, then she'll get a job at a nursing home or somewhere like that. Nothing wrong with it – it's a good start for her.

I especially liked Nie's comment, "She's hanging in there, making plans, and praying for the future she hopes and wants. Ultimately, we know the Lord is in charge; if we do our part, he'll do His." So I guess Claire (and Nie, too) is reading scripture and praying daily so her Lord will provide her with a husband. They're dying for Claire to be able to use that fugly chest Christian made.

Speaking of Christian…I'm sure the home renovations will be half finished and tacky like the dining room table that he never bothered to complete.

My gosh, these people really are crazy.

Yeah, she's definitely not just dropping in to Wake Forest for her CNAShe MIGHT have found a program at Wake Forest BAPTIST HOSPITAL (also known to locals as Baptist…not Wake Forest…Nie, you're not as crafty as you think) – but even still, they have close affiliations with WF University, and their higher level nursing students, so it probably is just a drop in visit or in person testing for her at-home studies.

And why won't she say WHAT school in Utah? Because I mean you can go to a technical college here – no need to go to Utah for that (but she's fishing for a husband — gotta get close to the pond I guess).

It takes a 3.96 GPA in the hardest classes high schools offer to get into Virginia Tech. I seriously doubt her son qualifies. Hard classes means physics, chemistry, calculus. Anybody here think Oliver has taken high school chemistry and gotten an A's? Me either. She said in her last post that he hates school. Also Claire is studying to be a Certified Nursing Assistant, not a Registered Nurse. CNA classes are 4 to 12 weeks long. Huge difference. At least she's doing something employable though. Maybe Oliver will be able to get into a technical training program or something but unless he's a high school wizard he isn't going to VA Tech.

And I guarantee she's not doing a CNA progam at *Wake Forest*…

I was also confused about the Wake Forest comment. I’m sure it’s Wake Tech. Ollie’s Va Tech dreams will be spoiled before be even applies. For someone who gives 0 poops about education, Stephanie sure is fond of academic name dropping which only draws attention to how short her children fall. It’s her fault.

AH ha, that makes more sense. With her multiple posting, it is easy to miss things!

So, she really doesn't seem to have any legitimate complaints. What a baby….

She should be glad her husband found someone to come help him do the work! As much as she wants him to be Handy Manny – he's not, and doesn't have the s for a full home reno. The house needed considerable work to make it fit with that many kids – I want to say it was a 3BR/2BA, and one looked really broke down. They were probably trying to convert flex space upstairs to an extra bedroom or bathroom or something a SKILLED worker needed to do.

I have my own questions about how workers are busting in on you in the bed — do you not lock doors at night?? Was one of the kids up and let the workers in? OR are you all just lazy mcNuggets and tend to sleep in knowing that workers are coming and you were supposed to be up and out of the way for the morning??
